The history of Medicover
Medicover Sp. Z. o. o. (“Medicover”) was founded in 1994 under the name of ABC Medicover. It had been established by Bengt Beckmann, the founder of Africa Air Rescue Health Services (AAR), a company providing comprehensive medical services in Kenya. Initially, AAR operated as an ambulance service provider, but in time it extended its profile to 24-hour outpatient assistance, Hotline and hospitalisation. Today, AAR offers services including primary medical care, family planning, mother and child care as well as educational programmes.
